Known affectionately as "Mars Meatball," the mascot captured hearts across the country by winning the 2026
National High School Mascot Brackets, a nationwide fan-voted competition featuring 64 of America's most unique high school mascots. After millions of votes, the Fightin' Planet defeated the Boiling Springs Bubblers to claim the national title.
From Concept to Champion
The Fightin' Planet didn't happen overnight. Working closely with the Mars Area School District and the Mars Cheer Boosters, our team spent months exploring different ideas before landing on the friendly, energetic character fans now know as Mars Meatball. The goal was to create a mascot that was original, performer-friendly, and instantly recognizable.
Today, the mascot is the face of school spirit, appearing at football games, pep rallies, community events, and now, as America's favourite high school mascot.

Winning this national title is a proud moment for everyone involved, and we're honoured to have helped bring the Fightin' Planet to life.
